The Barns deserves an 200/100 rating! They were absolutely PHENOMENAL in every single way!! I can't even put into words how wonderful they were, but I am going to try. From the moment we went and toured the venue we both fell in love. My husband and I had toured a few places but our hearts weren't set. We went down to tour the Barns and met Delaney and both instantly knew this was it...The quaint feeling of being in the country with the corn fields, the look and style of the red rustic barns, and the magical feeling you get when you see the barn with the breathtaking chandeliers...We booked the venue two years out..Delaney and Kylie were prompt to answer all of the questions I had. When we came for the 60 day out planning meeting, I was thinking it was going to be so stressful. Delaney kept it very relaxed and chill and I was shocked at how low stress it felt. From that point on until the day before the wedding, Delaney kicked it into high gear with accounting for every little detail. She updated things as we went along and reached out to all of my vendors so I didn't have to (which isn't the fun part about wedding planning anyways!) ...and now almost a week later I am still in awe. I cannot say enough about this Barns of Kanak team, and I would recommend them to anyone I know getting married!!!!

Never did we think our day would be so carefree and perfect... The Barns of Kanak absolutely blew Jack and me away! The BOK staff and coordinating team (led by the wonderful Kylie <3) were the most patient, professional, and organized group of individuals you could ever ask for. They care about you and they want each and every couple that works with them to truly have the most magnificent day.... and believe me, if you choose BOK, you will!!!! From the very beginning of our experience touring BOK, we felt special and part of their family. This venue provides 60-day-out coordinating and really takes the stress away during the last months of planning. And even if you have any questions before then, you will be more than taken care of. The communication and attention to detail couldn't have been better. Even when we burdened them with sooooo many little details the day of, each member of the staff always had a smile on their face and our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful their experience was til the very end of the night. Not to mention, the grounds are so beautiful and well kept. You won't find a single blade of grass uncut or path unsweeped. I could go on for hours and hours about how grateful and thankful we are to have landed such a amazing venue for the best day of our lives. ​I cannot say enough amazing things about the Barns of Kanak & team. They made all of our wedding dreams come true. The venue is stunning and the inclusive packages are perfect and really helped us save money as we did not need to purchase signage and other decor items we would never use again. The ceremony options are great as well because there is another barn on property where you can have your ceremony in case of rain or a very hot day. The Barns of Kanak staff are the sweetest! Any request we had they made it happen. Even a few unexpected last minute changes were no issue to them. You get your day of coordinator 2 months prior to the wedding and ours was Delaney. As a bride who opted to not have a wedding planner as I’m too much of a control freak she was a blessing to me. Once I was 2 months out I was begging for help. But I didn’t have to ask her for anything because she made it so easy. She contacts all the vendors and creates a very detailed timeline. All of my vendors were thrilled with Delaney. Do not hesitate to give them a call. I promise they will make your day as perfect as you dreamed it would be. I will always recommend Delaney and the Barns of Kanak.

"We got married at The Barns of Kanak on 4.30.22 and we could not have asked for a better experience! We loved how welcoming Kylie was on our initial tour, and after we toured she sent us a thank you follow up email which none of the other venues we toured did. We came back a month later for a second tour with our families, and Delaney did that tour. Our families were impressed with the venue and the staff that we ended up booking the next day. We loved the packages the Barns had to offer. They had everything we needed for our wedding day (the farm house for girls and the cottage for guys to get ready in, rain back up location, and the beautiful reception barn). We especially loved how they had a decor catalog with so many options to pick from that we didn't really need to go out and buy that much extra decor. We had Delaney as our wedding coordinator and we could not say enough good things about her. She was so organized through the entire process and answered all the questions we had leading up to the day. When we had our 60 day out meeting with her we were impressed that she had already reached out to all our vendors. She did great coordinating with all our vendors their time line information the week of for us so we didn't have to worry about any of that. Delaney & Team were great on our wedding day and everything went smoothly even when we got a bit behind on our timeline in the morning and decided to move up our sparkler exit the day of. We also highly recommend the newly-wed overnight farmhouse stay! At the end of the night our families were impressed with how quickly and efficiently the Barns team packaged up all our decor and leftover items. All our families had to do was pull their cars up for the staff to put the items in. Overall highly recommend the Barns of Kanak for anyone who wants to have a stress free wedding day. There are not enough words to describe how great this venue was for out wedding day!"

"I don't even know where to begin with our experience at Barns of Kanak. First, the venue is gorgeous with its dreamy landscape and furnishings. They have a barn stocked full of trendy wedding décor, separate areas to get ready, tons of picture perfect locations, AND wedding coordinating options. However, the real gem at BOK is their OUTSTANDING staff. Delaney was a dream to work with in the year/months leading up to our wedding. She responded to all of my questions so quickly and with so much grace and sincerity. Going in to the process, I had very little vision of what I wanted my reception and ceremony to look like. Delaney took the time to talk it through and they somehow brought to life the most perfect day. The team did everything and anything to make sure the day went off without a hitch. Even our guests commented on the efficiency and attentiveness of the BOK crew. I didn’t even notice when we had to create an alternate plan due to high winds or that we had run out of cups for the bar. They took care of it all - every bride’s dream! I am so grateful we picked the Barns of Kanak for our venue. It is the perfect place to mark the beginning of the rest of our life together."

"Where do I begin? I first found The Barns off of The Knot when looking for a venue. When emailing I found out there was going to be a vendor market so what better opportunity to go and check it out. To my surprise when arriving Kylie approached me and knew who I was, told me if I had any questions, to please let her know. She also offered me a tour if I wanted it. Keep in mind this was a market, 50+ guest were there, and she took the time out to find me and make me feel like home. From that day forward our experience just kept growing with love. I got the opportunity to work with Delaney and her team. She never once made me feel like I was asking too many questions. Come day of, I had no stress, I was relaxed and so ready for the day thanks to all of their preparation. 6 months prior My Dad fell ill to Liver Cancer and the day of the wedding he wasn't suppose to attend as he was still in ICU. Delaney approached me and told me not to worry, she wanted to offer me to come back at any time and take a photo shoot with Dad once he got better. However, my Dad passed shortly after getting married. The love, support, and thoughtfulness of this team continued to be there for my family and I as they sent me the most beautiful flowers as well as offering a memorial photo session. I will forever be grateful for everyone at this venue and they will always hold a special place in my heart."

"From our first virtual chat all the way up to our (very delayed due to COVID - from April 2020 to Sept 2021) wedding day, the Barns of Kanak team was exceptional. My husband and I live in Chicago and were looking to get married in VA. We actually booked the venue after a FaceTime tour and were so excited to see it in person a few weeks later and we were SO happy with our choice. Truly this family and their full team go above and beyond to make you feel so special throughout the process. We worked with Kylie primarily and she was absolutely AMAZING. We also were able to work with Abby as an intern and no surprise she is now full-time on the team! It was such a relief that the barns had a decor barn and catalog of things we could use on our special day - arches, signs, chargers and so many more perfect details. The best part of the whole experience, aside from the perfect wedding day, was having the 60-day out and day-of coordination. The coordination was SO unique compared to other venues we looked at and was so so so helpful. I honestly could not recommend this venue more. It’s beautiful, so well maintained and they really put their heart and soul into this place and it shows. The packages are beyond reasonable for everything you get when you choose the barns. Diane, Kylie, Abby and Tom, THANK YOU for being a part of our perfect wedding day and making us feel like family in the process."

"There’s no other way to describe my wedding at The Barns of Kanak than absolute perfection. The team made every single vision I had for my wedding come to life. The venue has EVERYTHING. We had our hair + makeup teams come to the venue and the morning getting ready was the most relaxing and fun experience I could have ever asked for. While the girls got ready, the guys and our families hung out, played games, and relaxed by the pool. Our wedding coordinator Delaney is an absolutely rockstar and was helpful from the start with coordinating meetings and contacting all of our vendors to make sure the day went by without a single hiccup. The entire team from Delaney, to Kylie, to Tom & Diane, and our bartenders were incredible- so fun, so helpful, and the kindest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I don’t think I could have asked for a more perfect day, the only thing I wish is that we could do everything over again! Thank you all for making our wedding the most incredible day of our lives!"

"Searching for a venue for one of the biggest days of your life is hard, it is a big decision. Let me tell you though - choosing the barns for our wedding was absolutely the best decision we could have made. The venue itself is beautiful, extremely well kept, and has options for both indoor and outdoor ceremony so you have zero stress the day of your wedding. On top of that, the staff is truly incredible. Kylie, the event manager/coordinator, was literally my saving grace. She helped me from the very start to the very end, without her I am not even sure I could have planned my wedding. She walks you through every step of the way! She is so organized, always on top of her game, efficient, responsive, thorough, and one of the nicest people I have met. She truly cares about you and making sure your vision is brought to life. Everything that a bride could want or need for her wedding. We got to work with the rest of the staff the weekend of our wedding and they all had no issue living up to the high bar Kylie set. We are so so thankful for this place and these people, we will cherish our day forever because of them!"

"The Barns of Karnak is an incredible wedding venue space! They literally have everything you could possibly need all in one space. We got married 12/8/19 and we’re still able to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony! However we had the indoor space available for our use if inclement weather. We had 150 guest who fit comfortably in the indoor reception barn. The reception barn is gorgeous with wood walls and ceilings, concrete floors, beautiful chandeliers, and huge bathrooms! The Barns of Kanak provided ample staff to assist with our day, all of which were friendly and available throughout the entire day. This venue is the perfect backdrop for all style weddings! We cannot thank Barns of Kanak enough for helping us with our special day!"

"Everything about this venue went above and beyond our expectations. The space itself is effortlessly gorgeous, which makes it easy to add minimal decorations. The venue has items on site from previous weddings that you can borrow for your big day - this was a huge plus for a budgeting bride! I felt like the space for the ceremony by the old barn, and the new barn for the reception were both a 10/10. Over and over our guests were telling us how beautiful it all was, especially after the sun set and all of the lighting on the buildings could be seen. For the service that Kylie/Diane provided, I seriously don't see our wedding day being as perfect as it was without them. From the very beginning they helped with organizing the day of, helping me stay on top of what needed to be done. If I had any questions, there was a quick response, and if I asked for advice it was genuinely given. On the day of they personalized our bride and groom cottages with our names and wedding date. Upon arrival there were mimosas and morning treats in the kitchen for the bridal party to share, along with a little gift - so heartfelt! Throughout the day they made all the transitions so seamless. I never felt like I didn't know what was going on, and there was always someone telling me where I needed to be and when - so I literally didn't need to think about anything except having a good time. If my husband and I wanted to push the time back a little to have some time to ourselves (we are so glad we did this!), or move something earlier, all I had to do was inform Kylie and she made it happen. In all seriousness I could not recommend the Barns of Kanak enough. There isn't one area I can say needs improvement or anything I can think of that they could have done better. It was a wonderful experience for us, and the perfect spot for us to start our life together. We are so grateful we found them!!"

"Words cannot describe what a gorgeous venue this is. It’s an absolutely dream come true for anyone who is getting married. They have it set up perfectly for the “just in case the weather fails” also. The back up barn for an indoor wedding is breathtaking. The owners are so knowledgeable and so helpful from start to finish. The minute we walked in we just knew that this was the only option to celebrate our union with friends and family. Diane and our wedding planner Delaney were so helpful with getting us through our planning. From start to finish they had every detail down so that it was one less thing for us to think about. The whole staff who helped set everything up could not have done a better job. They made our big day a dream come true and it would have not been possible without them. We look forward to having all future milestones shared at this venue because the grounds are absolutely breathtaking for photographs. We truly owe it all to the tireless work ethic and dedication possessed by Tom, Diane, Kylie and Delaney. Tom and Diane are, without a doubt, the sweetest people you will ever meet. From the start, you will feel as though you have become a part of their family. The interest they have in your special day is genuine and they truly go out of their way to make sure every bride has the wedding of her dreams. Although I'm still not quite sure how I didn't drive them crazy with the slew of messages I sent to in the days leading up to our wedding, I will forever be thankful that they ALWAYS replied (nearly immediately, nonetheless) and eased any nerve or fear I ever had. Their attention to detail is second to none as they work passionately to ensure every part of your day is executed perfectly.
